  1. How can I become a Legacy Consultant?

Anyone of good character who loves people and stories can be a field Legacy Consultant (LC) as long as they are at least 18 years of age, sign the Legacy Consultant agreement and W-9, and purchase the Priceless Legacy Starter Kit. The Starter Kit includes a digital recorder, samples, and overview of the compensation plan, as well as all the materials that a Consultant needs to get started. Legacy Consultants are independent contractors and become active in the compensation plan when they sell their first Life Story package.

  1. What does an LC do?

A field-based LC (or Legacy Consultant) is an independent contractor that sells, services and delivers the products of the Priceless Legacy Company to local markets.. For its flagship product, the Life Story Package, the Field LC interviews Subjects, digitizes and organizes photos, and handles draft reviews as part of the Priceless Legacy proprietary Life Story process. Other LCs operate primarily by telephone and Internet from the central company headquarters.

  1. What experience does one need to be an LC?

There are no specific experience requirements to qualify as an Field LC. LCs are a diverse group of people from various geographic (currently US and Canada) locations and all socio-economic walks of life. Please refer to the question #1 for the basic requirements to become an LC.

  1. What is an Family Legacy Workshop?

An Family Legacy Workshop is a smaller, intimate social event where LCs describe the mission of Priceless Legacy in the contet of sharing stories of their families and heritage. Often, the LC tells his or her passionate story of why he / she became an LC, display the product(s), and invite attendees to join them in his / her business in one of 3 ways: (1) refer them to people interested in preserving their life stories, (2) refer people that might be interested in becoming Priceless Legacy LCs, or (3) join his / her team as an LC or purchase a Life Story package. A presentation for Legacy Consultants to use in conducting an Family Legacy Workshop is available in the LC Resource Center.

  1. What is a Legacy Workshop?

A Legacy Workshop is a presentation-style meeting of typically larger groups where the Legacy Consultant talks about the importance of Life Story preservation. This presentation is mission focused and is used for the purpose of increasing awareness. A presentation for Legacy Consultants to use is available in the LC Resource Center and outlines the importance of life story capture, methods of preservation, and the hurdles that stand in the way of individuals from capturing life stories. Often times, after the presentation, attendees will inquire as to what LCs can do to assist them in preserving their life stories. If asked, it would be appropriate to tell the Priceless Legacy story in detail — however, it is not the focus of the workshop.
